On the evening of May 7, the Ram's Alumni Association held its second Annual General Meeting. Thank you to all the members who attended and supported this milestone event. For those who couldn’t join us, we’re pleased to share a message from our President.
"Hi Everyone,
I want to start by expressing my deepest gratitude to each of you who has continued to stand by us through what has been a challenging year for our organization. It's no secret that engagement has been tough, but those of you who have remained committed are the backbone of this organization. Your support is what has kept things moving forward.
This year, we introduced some exciting new initiatives, like our Wish List Online and the Rams for Life Scholarship Program, as well as multiple ways to give and engage. We hosted our annual Christmas together. We shared social posts, updated the members through blogs. These are all steps in the right direction, but the work doesn't stop here. To ensure our long-term sustainability and to keep supporting our students, we need to look ahead and continue growing.
I'm calling on all of us to bring the energy and commitment we need to make this
organization thrive. We need a pep rally of sorts-let's energize our community and make it clear that Rams for Life is here for the long haul.
We need to ask ourselves: What can we do to make this organization even stronger? What can we do to encourage others to join us in supporting our students for years to come?
The path to success requires all of us, and it's time for us to dig deep, bring in new supporters, and make this mission something that not only lasts, but
flourishes. Our students need us, and together, we can make a lasting impact. Thank you for your commitment. Let's keep pushing forward-together."
